Durasphere GR - Durasphere GR is intended to treat problems associated with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Durasphere GR Injectable Bulking Agent is composed of pyrolytic carbon-coated beads suspended in a water-based carrier gel.

GERD or acid reflux is a common, chronic, disease that affects nearly 18 million Americans. GERD is a progressive disorder, often prompting patients to seek medical advice for further treatment once self-medicating fails. Durasphere GR is currently undergoing clinical evaluation in the United States in a multi-center feasibility trial.
